The Lac de Ribou campsite in the Loire Valley is ideally located at 25km from Puy du Fou.

Set in a historical region between Nantes, Saumur and  La Roche sur Yon, you'll be able to enjoy the 'joie de vivre' and relax during your camping holidays in the middle of 8ha of peaceful woodlands.

 

Whether you fancy an active holiday in the Loire Valley, enjoying sports activites by the lake: sailing, kayaking, pedal boat trips, fishing, or you're looking forward to a bit of relaxtion by the two heated and monitored swimming pools, or joining the art club to paint some of the finest French chateaux... the choice is yours.

Please note that swimming in the lake is prohibited.


Staying at the Lac de Ribou campsite means fun for everyone. History buffs can discover the local abbeys, castles and windmills, while food lovers will enjoy a wine tasting tour of the Loire vineyards. For the children there's also plenty to do during their French camping holidays, they can visit the Puy du Fou theme park in Vendee, voted best theme park in the world in 2012. (puydufou.com)

 

- The region of Saumur, only 60km away from the campsite, offers plenty to see: from archeological sites, religious buildings, art, as well as castles and manors, windmills and museums.

- The Marais de Poitevin, alos called the Green Venice, is a wildlife haven. To the west it is a major stopover for migrant birds, along the Atlantic ocean coast it offers rare and pitcuresque landscapes. It is definitely worth a visit during your camping holidays, a truly unique maze-like setting to discover.

- The Futuroscope theme park in Poitiers is 120km away from your campsite,  a different kind of theme park experience for all the family! Kids and grown-ups will love the Raving Rabbids Attraction, and love the 4D Arthur adventure: Shrink and become a Minimoy, Climb onto a flying ladybuggy and join Arthur in a hair-raising race around the fairy-tale world of the Minimoys. 

The Loire valley and its wonderful gardens, world famous chateaux and gastronomy will delight the whole family.

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
For the little ones, there is a play island with water slides where they can have their very first sliding experience. This small island is perfect for children aged between 3 and 6 years old, as the shallow water allows children to safely walk in the ent
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
The Patau-splatch is a large, fun paddling pool for kids aged 2 to 6 years. Have fun sliding down three of its entertaining slides, burst out laughing underneath the huge bucket of water, and amuse yourselves by spraying each other with water from the jet
Opening hours of the water park : 9:30 - 20:00. Swimming shorts are prohibited (boxers or briefs allowed). Toddlers must wear diapers specially designed for swimming. The bracelet must be worn. For children who cannot swim it is mandatory to wear inflatable armbands. 
April holidays: Only the indoor pool is heated

Carabouille and entertainment

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment! In july and august, we offer the following:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Friday, from 10am until 12pm and from 3pm until 5.00pm.

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 animators, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
